Just Being Nosey

Welcome, my name is Joanne and the proud owner of Dog Walking with Care.

My home-based pet services provides Adventure Walking, Stay and Play Days and Home from Home Boarding.

 

Our doggy adventure started in 2015. In a moment of madness I purchased 10 acres of wild woodland at a local land auction. At the same time I was struggling to find care for my Daschunds Roger, Derek and Elsie for my long work day. 

 

A plan began to form  - I loved walking my dogs and I had the magical

woodland. If I couldn't find anyone, there must be other dog parents in this situation too?  

 

I did lots of research before I put up posters in and around Launceston for

Adventure Walking.  As the daily groups became established, owners started to ask me if their companions could stay overnight, the weekend and the week.  

 

To be a licenced Home Boarder I discovered I needed to pass an Animal Welfare Inspection. This legal requirement ensures my home and the way I care for dogs maintains their  health and safety and well being. I passed with with a 4 Star Award.  

I have achieved this high award ever since with 5 stars being awarded in 2022.
